Following on from Wardy's question what are 'surprisingly' useful gadgets.

Mine are, surprisingly, a mozarella slicer which someone gave me - like a big egg slicer - so quick and don't get sqaushed slices, I use it all the time.

Also a cherry/olive stoner as I like putting fresh cherries in salads in the summer

Oh and I use my pizza slicer - the wheel type - for cutting up smoked salmon!

Oh and my steamer, I do all my veg in it.
a small whisk (2 in a pack from lakeland) about as big as a dessert spoon, which i use instead of a spoon for stiring things, keeps everything lump free. a large pair of kitchen scissors which i use for cutting up meat, fish, some veg - much better than a knife for some jobs. hand-held electric 'whizzer' for making soup.
My hand-held cappachino/hot chocolate whisk. It froths and gets rid of bits that don't dissolve properly.
A hand processor that I bought 5 years ago when Iwas weaning my son...still going strong and so useful, easy to clean...I'll miss it when it's gone.
My hardy wok - it's so versatile. And my canine hoover, who leaves the floor sparklimg after mealtimes. She runs oon Dr Hills diet.
A copper bottomed saute pan with a lid. Cost me about 100-00 but worth every penny.

hope you're talking about your processor and not your son amonty1144

Not forgetting my favourite, very, very old little knife with a burnt handle, for chopping veg, etc.
Sad as it is I love my grater and my wok. I use both most days. Plus the gratar doubles as an excellent threatening tool for my male housemate.
