Fish,new potatoes and steamed vegetables............we started a healthy eating routine after Christmas and this is the sort of boring stuff we have every day :-(
funny thing is i've actually put on weight eating this stuff.
I'm @ work til 11pm, so its prob 2 eggs (scrambled) and a small tin of Weight Watchers beans. too am on a diet...lord knows why. I'm a size 8/10 but still manage to hold on to the rolls of chub around my 'love handles'!!
Lemon & Lime WW yogurt just doesn't have the same appeal does it? Oh sod it, I'll ride round via Asda and get a big fat sticky toffee pudding. With Ice Cream!!!
we are having some curry, (which is now more traditional to the UK than it is to India), and my gran and aunt are coming round to have dinner with us. also my mum has made a cheese cake for dessert, although we probably wont eat any cos we'll be stuffed!
I have just saut�d a whole load of chopped fresh veggies (leeks, onion, mushrooms, red pepper, white cabbage, garlic, wild mushrooms, red chillies, fresh tomato and added a little veg stock) and defrosted some frozen puff pastry. I think I'll roll out the pastry and form little parcels with the veggies inside, bake them and serve them up with a potato & sweet potato mash. I might add some cooked chick peas to the veggies though.. not sure yet.
Mixed grill with all quorn, on a green day with slimming world, was to be followed with raspberries and mullerlight but have been feeling a bit sick all day and its getting steadily worse so think Ill give afters a miss although I can alwys be tempted by lemon meringue!
