Hi skyep, How's you tonight ? funny you should ask i'm eating it right now.

It's quite spicey. i guess you would have to taste it though to better understand it. Mind you it's not everyone that enjoys it.
oops sorry i didn't realise this question was for someone else.

Hi Louisa, got the sniffles :0( Sure I'll feel better after I've been out for some crisp and cider xxx
Haggis! I love spicy food. Wendilla was cooking haggis tonight too! I was shopping earlier and saw it, should have bought some to try, damn!!! I take it it's steamed or boiled???

Don't be daft xxx Just I'd seen wendilla was making it for tea tonight xxx
i love it, its very tasty!
aww sorry to hear that. My fiance is at home tonight with man flu lol.

I actually prefer the tinned stuff, it seems to have a better flavour, well to me it does.

Hi Louisa/ Unruly, so do you boil it, or can you steam it? xxx
Yes you can boil it or steam it. With the tinned stuff i usually put it in a pan and heat it through, but tonight i did it in the microwave.
i boiled it skyep, bought one back from Gretna with me! yummy!!!

Didn't know you could get it in a tin! Thanks for the feedback xxx
hi wendilla take from me a true scot haggis is wonderful and boy it tastes a lot better with a good glass of whisky
I was at a rave last year and my mate Scott's wee brother ate a tin of haggis cold for his breakfast! It was the funniest thing I'd ever seen! Personally I don't like the tinned stuff as much, you're best to get a MacSween's one from a supermarket or if you're willing to travel 20 miles beyond Gretna, my 2nd cousin owns Houstin's the butchers in Dumfries and their haggis has won numerous awards I believe. It's a spicey meaty treat and it's made out of the most nutritious parts of the animal, and it's the only way I could conceivably put any of those bits in my mouth! If you ever watch a lion killing somethign to eat it, you'll notice they go for the innard first as they do them the most good.
