Come Dine With Me...
31 Answers
One of my favourite programmes on the telly just now is Come Dine With Me especially now that I like cooking, if you've never seen it, it's basically 5 people that are competing for 1000 in cash and to win they have to throw the best dinner party. I saw this guy on it from Edinburgh who did something with stale bread and water which to me looked like paper mache...eugh! Anyway he was a little on the eccentric side and while cutting his onions he had a top tip for us viewers he was wearing swimming goggles and I can only think they must have been to stop him crying. Do you use something round your house or at work for a purpose that it really isn't made for? i.e. goggles for cutting onions...lol!

This too is one of my fave programmes,
I saw the episode too with the swimming goggles, I couldn't help laughing!!!
What gets me it that in the first episode, they are slagging off the first to cook, saying I can do better, poor presentation, my dish is tastier, and yet when it is their turn, they fail miserably.
I reckon I would be good on this programme!!
If I only had the nerve......

I find it very entertaining too. The best one I saw was based on a group from around Ayr (i think) it was one guy and 4 women. The guy was hilarious, he got in loads of Moet and plied them with drink then served up pigs trotters for the main meal! I think the narrators comments are very amusing and really add to the show.

Did you see the chap on Mondays programme of this week? ..
He reminded me of Les, the barman on Men Behaving Badly!! lol ....
Bless him, he was getting a bit hot and bothered under his tight fitting tie and collar when he was beavering away in his little kitchen, sweating buckets, preparing his gourmet meal for his new guests who patiently sat round his dinner table in the living room, waiting to be fed.
Awww did you see his green pancakes??!! lol ....
