No sorry Julie, you've gone too far now....Branston pickle is vile poisonous gloop, and you should be ashamed of a) bringing it up as a topic on CB and b) eating it.

Go sit in the naughty corner >>>>

Boo, how long do i have to sit there for? I think you usually do a minute per age so thats me gone for the best part of 3/4 of a bloody hour give or take a few mins!
I like pickle and piccallili! Love mustard too.
max, NEVER? :O It's wonderful, a vinegary kind of collection of crunchy cubed veg, like a chutney. Delish! Oh, and a Ploughman's is just the perfect excuse for a carnical of cheese and pickle!
jules, I like it with bits, really, as it's just a brown goo without them! Taste is the same, and lovely, but think the chunks make it. You are indeed on a roll, and yes, my ideal pickle encounter would be too...with a nice strong cheddar. Or sometimes, just cheese and pickle by itself, sticks of cheese with a blob of pickle to dip. Oh yum! I am craving now...That's tea sorted!
Who stood you up? Make 'em pay!
Boo that's funny, so you aren't a fan then?!
Zacs, last time I was shopping, I just had an odd urge for pickled onions, so I bought a jar, got them home, and cracked them open to demolish them with a fork! There's a few left. Well, there won't be after this thread!
