Why don't people eat Chicken and eggs together?

I'm sure there are some who do.

The original chicken fried fried rice is made with scrambled eggs. Many Chinese restaurant still make it the original way. Also, some potato salad recipes have chunks of chicken and boiled egg.

The shop I work in sell 'The chicken or the egg' sandwiches, one chicken sandwich and one egg mayonnaise sandwich.

Some things just go together, and some don't, possibly a cultural thing.

Can you imagine a bolognaise sauce with rice? A curry with spaghetti? Lamb with horseradish?

Pichard and mashed banana sandwich is delicious. Also cheese and date sandwich. Yum. When I was in the army stationed in Hong Kong I was offered stir fried baby mice...er...no thanks. Got to draw the line somewhere. I was told the tails got stuck in your teeth. I still cringe about it 25 years later.
