I preferred the washing tablet. This proves that 100% of those tested either think that Parma Violets are disgusting and should not be inflicted on even the worst members of the general public or that they think Persil washing tablets taste scrumptious.
Thanks pigface, I'll need it for the Parma Violets.
I decided what I did before wasn't a fair test, because they both do different jobs. So I washed my whites with a couple of Parma Violets and it didn't make them clean.
This is conclusive proof that Parma Violets are both vomit-inducing and unhelpful.

They came in packets like this, they were made by Swizzels-Matlow and were a spin off of their "Fruit Fizzers". Fruit Fizzers were like little tiny Refreshers, all different colours and "flavours". They then gave the purple ones (the ones categorically nobody liked) their own packet and called them "Scuzzy-Tasting Shit Fizzers". They were swiftly renamed as "Parma Violets", although they never actually sold any.
They did, however, employ jills, sexy_bef69 and smudge to work for them, promoting them as "edible" to a gullible public.
And they don't get stains out of your laundry either.

LOL at loads of the posts here...good question. I do love Parma Violets, as I've already confessed, and do you know, when I took the jumbo ones in to work, there were always at least 3 or 4 people who were delighted, and used to ask where I got them etc, as they wanted to buy more, loved them when younger etc etc. So hey, Smudge and sexy_bef69...we are not alone!xx
