Just got an absolute bargain..

A 500g bag of Black Forest fruit mix from Aldi on special offer 99p! There are morrello cherries,grapes,blackcurrants,blackberries and blueberries in the mix, lovely plump fruit!. I've made a crumble with it, it's in the oven! xxx

I was really surprised at the quality of the fruit. I regularly shop at Aldi anyway, it was because it was on special offer I thought I'd give it a try. Suppose I could make Black Forest gateau as well! Might be back for another bag tomorrow xxx

Sorry Hellie, It was one of those "Oh God, that sounds terrible" posts, that I sadly make with alarming frequency.

Boo - You can have the spare room. Well, when I say spare room, it's not really spare at all, it's a this and that room full of this and that, no you can't stay. In any case, just had a quarter of it, that leaves three portions, one for my son & the other for my hubby. Yeah, I know there's one left, but that's all for me me me :0) xxx

Must check that out skyep as I made crumble yesterday (apple) but that sounds delicious.

Also if you are in aldi check out their Pain Au Chocolat in the bread section. Its a packet of 6 for 99p and they are scrumptious (15 secs in the microwave and you are sorted).
