Cupcake decoration
3 Answers
Hi All,
Hope someone can help me out here, I'm going to decorate 12 dozen cupcakes for a wedding, I want to put a disc of sugarpaste icing on top of each one, and then add some sugar flowers, will I be able to use edible glue to fix the sugarpaste to the cake, and then to add the flowers, or is there a better method, I have been told that I should use buttercream,to fix the icing onto the cake, but this would take up more time! Thanks in anticipation................M

Just warm it up so more runny and brush on gently then the sugar paste disc will sit nicely. It works when marzipanning a cake. Just try it on a spare cake first. I made 100 cup cakes for my grandaughters 18th but I made thick glace icing and then my sugar flowers . they were much admired.
