(Sorry about that)
Hi Cazzz, Monty & Honky

When I was in Spain a few years ago we got an Oreo selection pack (yes they do exist) and the chocolate covered ones were very nice. Not really bothered about the plain ones though.
I don't really like them either, and you can't even twist them-they just crumble and make a mess!
I thought they looked hideous on the advert and it put me right off trying them. Mind you, the kid did dunk it in milk and I deteste milk so it might have somethingto do with that, made me feel sick just watching it. Think I'll stick to carrot cake.

I didnt go down the whole milk thing, my daughter is keen to try it though ..brgghhh

I would rather stick to a custard cream!
Shudders at the idea of small child with milk tash

I actually don't know how I breast fed.
Cazzz I've never tried Oreos.

.... yes China, I'll stick to my home made carrot cakes and banana breads too. Oreo cookies have loads-a junk in them.

There's a question in F&D about carrot cake Figure. Pasta gave me a recipie last night and I think you should too. And for the banana cake as well. I may be about to go through a baking phase.
Tried one in New York a couple of years ago, I thought they tasted like crunchy dog sick but, hey-ho the Yanks love them like the just as revolting Twinkies the NYPD live on.
Twinkies are heaven. Wish they sold them here...
I have got a box of ding dongs and twinkies on the way to me as we speak from my friend in Michigan.
They deep fry Oreos, sounds pretty awful, and they deep fry twinkies too, strange bunch.
Question Author
omg that sounds pretty fattening, what are twinkies and ding dongs??
I wasted 10 quid making Banana bread last saturday, i had to throw it all away, i am a good cook even if i say it myself. What went wrong i do not know, grateful for another recipe though anyone.

Ok China, I'll post my recipe in a while.
It comes out very good - nice and moist and taste great.
Google the hostess site, ding dongs are little chocolate cakes and twinkies are like a sponge full of a cream filling, heaven help me.
Yay! Thank you Figure!
'ding dongs'?! Oooh I just came over all Carry On then! *lol*
cazzz, Oreos ARE totally over-rated!
