Jam

What is your favourite Jam and why?
It can be brand or flavour - if you have got a favourite brand in particular I would be interested to know....
My reason for this is because my kids have taken a great fascination to having jam on toast and I am worried about the nutritional content and if there is too much sugar in Jam. Have any of you ever bought hartleys before? Is it any good? Look forward to hearing your responses.....

I recently made some blackcurrant jam for my diabetic father in law using a reduced sugar sweetener and it was extremely hard to tell the difference. Therefore if you want to keep an eye on sugar levels, maybe look for a diabetic alternative. It will probably be more expensive as these things tend to be but thats the trade off.
good luck

I love St Dalfour. It's made in France. You'll find it in tall slim pots in most supermarkets. It's a no added sugar jam/fruit spread. It tastes as jammy but doesn't have the nasties. I think they sweeten it with grape juice. It comes in lots of different flavours too. I like the thick apricot, but all the others are nice as well. Happy spreading.
