LOL Banjosister.... I am still trying to find the perfect replacement to my old worn out but still fabby ovengloves.... that I had to consign to that great *aged ovenglove department in the sky* last year.....
I've since purchased some individual oven proof gloves (a pair indeedie) but they are too tight for me to be able to lift a large casserole dish from the oven safety. I've also got a double set with matching fabric inbetween which are ok as oven gloves (heat resistant etc etc) but they are so so so stiff.... and keep on catching on the dish being removed from the oven... And then I purchased another double set last weekend from Morrisons which are nice and flexible but are so thin as to be totally dangerous. They really do need some extra heat resistant material around the hand bits.... doh...
