Officially 1 bottle of wine a day is over the recommended limits for both males and females, however, red wine is better for you than white and if you drink a bottle, let's say between 5pm and 11pm, then I can't see a problem. I do! JD

thanks for reply JD, if you regullarly drinks at least 1 bottle per nighte, will you feel you addicted to it? if you dont drink for one night, will you feel awfull?
Im with JD on this one. Drinking red wine is one of my main pleasures, and I drink at least a bottle a day, but over a period of 6 hours or so. I couldnt drink a bottle in an hour, though!
You drink a whole bottle of wine in a day ? *gulp* that is one heck of a lot of alcohol......... or is it a small bottle ?
Question Author
how about a bottle wine plus two beers per night then? would you consider it acoholic?
i dont really drink, but ask for a friend.x
Small amounts of alcohol over a prolonged time period is much better than abstaining during the week and then necking 6 pints of beer, followed by vodka on a Friday night.

It is a good idea to have at least 2 alcohol free nights per week to give your liver a rest though.

Its fairly commonplace for couples to share a bottle of wine pretty much every day of the week after work. Drinking at home seems to be taking over the pub scene.
