Garlic breath1

Not sure if this is the correct section, but can anyone suggest what you can do to eliminate garlic breath. After I have eaten something with garlic, even after brushing my teeth a few times and using mouthwash, I still feel the smell is very strong and feel aware of it when near other people. Maybe I am being over-sensitive!

there is no 'cure' for garlic breath, chewing on a large bit of parsley or a cardamon pod are said to help, but the only real way not to have 'garlic breath' is not to eat any garlic.

Not a lot of help to 'ethandron' but if two of you eat garlic you can't smell it on each other's breath. My wife and i both love lots of garlic in things and it's never a problem.
Which also leads me to ask the second poster if 'gelda' is your real name as it's my wife's name and I've seldom come across it before.

Please believe me when I say that (as a non-garlic eater)garlic breath is truely and deeply repulsive!
I think you are right and polite to be aware of your breath sanden. Sitting in a concert/show in front of someone who has been eating garlic is a miserable experience.
Also, does garlic make people burp more? It seems to be that way - although of course I prob wouldn't notice them burping if it didn't stink.
Beginning to feel a bit queasy!
