What are best sauces you can buy eg curry and sweet and sour. I have tried a few but found them pretty bland.
Anyway decided to try Sainsburys basic and they were basic. Any ideas of a rea macoy of a curry etc.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.dont usually use jars make my own but if stuck Lloyd Grossmans are quite good, and i have noticed that they have restuarant sauces like the baltic capitals of the uk bradford not bad i might say quite pricey but you can tell the difference give them a go not a major brand but produced like the resturants recipe!
PATAKS !!!!! Especially the Vindaloo sauce in the large jar, it is not as hot as it should be, so you need to zap it up with extra scotch bonnets, ginger, and garlic, but it is a brilliant start for an Indian meal and saves all that pfaffing about with ground spices and pestles.
