This sounds similar to what I know as 'no bake chocolate cake' - basically chocolate melted in a saucepan with golden syrup, then mix in crushed digestive biscuits and left to set in the fridge. It goes rock hard over night. My mum also puts glace cherries in there.

If thats the stuff I'll post the recipe on her, my mum has it I'm sure.
Chocolate Concrete was discussed on here last year and a recipe sent in by a school dinner lady.

10 1/2 0zs Self Raising Flour
8 3/4 ozs hard margarine
8 3/4 ozs white sugar
1 oz cocoa
1 egg.Beaten.

Method. Melt marg and add dry ingredients. add the egg. Press into a greased shallow tin. Brush with water and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 140c electric oven for 20 mins. or equivalent gas setting.

Ooooh, my cousin makes that. She does a couple in advance for parties, keeps them in the fridge during the day and then just whacks them in the oven when the savoury bit of the buffet begins - lovely hot with icecream!
