To make buttermilk just add one tablespoon of lemon juice to 8 fluid ounces of milk and leave for 10 minutes
Fresh herbs can be purchased from most supermarkets. They are quite expensive and you always get more than you need. I find they dont keep long or freeze well either.

Much cheaper and better to buy them in pots from your local garden centre. They dont take up much room and can be planted in the garden, window boxes, larger box or hanging baskets - Hey presto! fresh herbs on tap.
just noticed where your from! Do they have garden centres in Malalysia? :-x
As booldawg says, buy them as plants and nurture them, they should grow well in a Malasyian climate so long as you look after them. There must be somewhere in Kuala Lumpur where you could buy them as its hardly a back-water.
Buy a packet of seeds and grow your own ..
they won't take long in your climate ..good
luck ..
