I had some sandwiches and party food as it was my dads birthday
Skipped breakfast then took Mr J out for a lovely sunday roast at the Didsbury pub in Manchester.

Gorgeous food but food doesn't agree with me at the mo so was wincing all round Sainsburys, not that I like Sainsburys at the best of times :)

Got a whole chicken I'm going to cook for Mr J for tea with some nice fresh crusty bread and tomatos.
We haven't had our's yet. Our son is away with the school this weekend. We have had a very lazy day for a change. We are watching the channel 5 movie at the mo, then we will go out for something to eat. I always do a roast dinner on a Sunday, so it feels a bit strange not cooking today!

"diddy this help yieeee the nooooooooooooo?"

I had chicken fried rice & curry sauce for lunch (last nights dinner remains), yum yum!
Ohh Warpig that sounds delish!! I had the obligatory marmite sandwich and a cheeky kit-kat...
Hippyhoppy it was delish, even better than the night before! But marmite is good too, what is a cheeky kit-kat?

well that made me laugh ...i will have to tell him
small leg of lamb, but with potatoes and broad beans from garden which always makes me feel inordinatley smug, like I'm changing the world with my 6 potatoes and handful of veg. They probably cost more to grow than buying but there is a sense of satisfaction. Son at Glastonbury probably eating rubbish, What do they eat at festivals. ?Even worse daughter in north Australia, diving on gap year. Rather not think about what her dinner is.
