have you asked the managers of the supermarkets for it? many times they can order it in for you.
Valvona & Crolla sell it (they are in Multrees Walk in the city centre), plus they have an on-line shop you can buy it from 2.99 for 1 kg http://www.valvonacrolla-online.co.uk/cgi-bin/ valvonacrolla.storefront

I would have thought any good italian deli would sell it though.
Can I add an appendix to Juggerling's answer?
Further in Valvona and Crolla's site they have a 00 flour.
Here is their description of it:~
Fior di Molino
Italy
Soft wheat flour. Type '00' as used for making authentically pliable pizza and pasta dough.
1000g
2.99 GBP

Here is a link to it:~

I cannot get the actual page to appear(only the main page) but just enter flour in the search box and it will appear.

Thanks guys for the quick responces!
I did ask in tesco but the manager didnt even know what it was let alone being able to order it for me - but i will try that shop tomorow. Its easy to get to, next to bus station i see.

Is there any difference in the one for 1.99 than the one at 2.99 as i want to make italian bread and also pizza bases - so i was'nt too sure, all i know is it has to be 00
You can also get it at Sainsbury's at Cameron Toll... have bought it there myself. You can find it in amoungst the other flours.
Are you sure about the V&C Vin Cafe at Mulltrees walk selling it BTW? I know they used to have a wee deli bit downstairs but it looks like that has totally gone now. Could have moved it upstairs I guess... been a few months since I went upstairs in it. The main V&C however is only 10 minutes from there anyway and any excuse for a stroll down to it is worth it
Ken is quite correct - it looks as though the shop is actually in Elm Row.

I don't know about the difference between the 1.99 and 2.99 bags, as far as I can see from the web site, it is 2.99 for 1000g (= 1kg). I suspect it might be a bit cheaper in a supermarket though. I am sure I have seen it in larger Tesco's and Asda's - but do you have Asda up there ?
