I buy it for people visiting and needing it in their tea and coffee and also for my baking. Yes, it lasts for ages and ages LOL.
I'll pop out with my next batch of baking, but you'll probably have to wait until the clocks have changed, I tend to spend more time in the kitchen when it's dark outside :o)

There's a chicken and avocado dish I love doing, it's so simple and it's VERY tasty. Maccaroni, soups, pies I put into wee dishes so I can eat them up after work LOL. I got a curry cookbook a while back, proper curries and they are a lot of fun to make from scratch. I felt like a right idiot asking the owner of the Asian shop on King Street for bones (for flavouring) but he didn't seem to think it odd LOL.
If you'd like, I'll give you the recipe for the chicken and avocado dish and a curry.
When I bake, it's normally biscuits, cookies, scones...stuff like that rather than actual proper cakes. I found a recipe for a cheesecake a while ago, OMG, this is the best cheesecake, my Dad has requested it twice since I first did it LOL.

Lots of things really and the the cheaper the better! I make an absolutely foolproof victoria sponge using oil instead of butter but I like th e sound of your curry. I too make curry from scratch but I'd like to hear about the cheesecake - my daughter loves it and I could always do with another recipe
OK, I'll dig out the recipes over the weekend as I'm out tomorrow and Friday night, I'll e-mail them to you, can you mail me at [email protected] so I have your address, please?
I'm trying to get the finance together for a new kitchen at the moment, and when it's installed I will finally have a gas oven (yay) and when that happens, I'm going to venture into the world of baked alaska. I suspect I will be cleaning melted ice cream from the inside of my oven for a while, but I'll give it a bash anyway!
