I hate the wee bu��ers -my husband has them in Spain and loves them but he doesnt have anything apart from a passada (sp?) sauce with them with some garlic.
I couldnt tell you what they were like but he seems to rate them.
Hi BTW -take your time !! I stumbled 5 yrs ago and am still here -mine was football -not much difference.
Thanks above,I have a few recipes,I will come back an other time as I am warned I cant post more than 3 questions within 60hours.I now have a lovely recipe with white wine,fresh single cream and garlic but I may venture back in.
The best mussels I had was in bruges. All white winey and garlicy and served in a small cauldron... delicious!
Also had the best veal there too but I'm apparently evil for enjoying that according to baby sister who still hasn't forgiven me for serving her a very nice meal and then telling her she'd just eaten Bambi....
