Can I freeze batter mix?

Errr.... anything can be frozen (as Chuck has rightly pointed out) but whether it is still even remotely edible when defrosted is another matter....
Some veg can be frozen but these tend to be the ones that don't deteriorate when their structure is broken down (tomatoes, sweetcorn, peas etc). Wheat seems to have a fairly robust structure, so it's ok for freezing (bread, pasta, high flour products) but they don't last too long ...
My real answer ought to be, why on earth would you want to freeze a batter mix when it's so easy to make up from the dried ingredients... doh ! Just add water and stir.... lol
