This is my fav meal! We have homemade jacket wedges, salad, mushrooms and onions fried in butter, and a splash of worcestershire sauce. My husband makes it for me so it tastes even better than if I made it lol
I have a dollop of mayo too but thats optional :o)
wingnut, that sounds amazing. my hubbie cooks the steak everytime too - the only time i let him cook - cos im scared i will overcook a decent piece of meat! the wedges sound great!
I dont know. hes talking bout homemade chips which are great, but then weve got all kinds of other options - onion rings, mushrooms, salad, grilled veg, im spoilt for choice! i love cooking but enjoy when he cooks! i envy you, i would love to cook for a living!
Mmmmm I feel hungry again and I've just had my tea lol! I enjoy my job jb and making new recipes but sadly I am a school cook and witness a lot of it going in the bin having not even been touched! My 2 children at home have a good varied taste for lots of different dishes but it would seem the kids at my school don't :o(
I made Turkey pie last week, so close to chicken pie lol and puddings this week have ranged from Pineapple shortcake to chocolate crisp pudding. Needless to say that all went! lol The meals are all really good and tasty (I'm not just saying that either), they just need encouraging to try something new or different to what they usually have, unfortunately I can't do everything.
i remember a great chocolate sponge pudding with chocolate custard!!! i made it for my other half a few months ago - he loved it! i miss school dinners!
