Anybody know when wild mushrooms are about?

they were plentiful on our golf course this week.

I blame these idiot media people who keep telling everyone to get free food - out of supermarket dustbins, picking fruit of other people's trees and collecting wild mushrooms, garlic, horseradish etc!

dont bother, you can if you have the knowledge of picking wild mushrooms, otherwise get them from a reliable source!!!

I wouldn't eat them as they are more abundant in places where dogs foul. Plenty in local park.

Ask at your library if they know of anywhere local where you can go foraging with an expert. The Overall family are going on an organised mushroom picking trip this weekend.
