It's the sodium that is the problem, you can get low sodium salt, if that's any use ?

salt and sodium are not unhealthy in themselves..actually the body needs a certain amount. The problem is that the modern diet contains to much salt and it is this excess that is "unhealthy"

As has been said we need salt but not too much. We brought back some fabulous tasting sea salt from France but it's not healthier than any other salt, it just tastes better
