If you mean the place, I don't imagine they have a 'national' food. If your question is open to any other interperetation, then it won't be on the Site long enough to matter.
I think he means Niger the country - possibly even a typo for Nigeria - but, if there's even a 1% chance of anything "racist" then yes it will be whipped off.Paxton MoOn could have asked "what's the favourite food of a hostage that's about to have his throat slit, but knew the risks and was earning a lot of money" - he'd be on safe ground there!

While it is gratifying to see users who are determined that there be no racism on this site (if found, it is removed and the offender barred) please remember that the people of the Republic of Niger might be somewhat offended themselves to realise there are people who seem to forget that their country exists!

As for the answer: "Rice is a staple food and is served with fish, chicken and other meats. Manioc and beans also feature in the diet of the people of Niger... The main diet of the Tuareg consists of milk, millet and dates." (Source: http://www.worldinfozone.com/country.php?country=Niger&page=1)

And, from http://www.lonelyplanet.com/destinations/africa/niger/culture.htm, "In the north most meals consist of some combination of yoghurt, mutton and rice, and in the south rice, sauce, couscous, and ragout, or stew, are common elements."

Political correctness gone mad then...for goodness sake that word has two G's in it!!!!!!
clap clap clap for the Ed :)
