Markies - Meal for 2 for �10

1 main
1 side dish with main
1 pudding
1 bottle of wine

I don't want the wine (I prefer my own) but none of the staff in Markies could tell me if I could get an extra side or even a bottle of juice instead of the wine. Do you know?

What if someone doesn't drink at all?

My local branch of M & S had a printed out menu sheet giving all the options and under the wine it had a twin pack of Valencia Orange Juice, so yes it is possible to have juice instead of wine, however all the items are subject to availability. We had the meal last night (as there were 4 of us I bought 2 different menus) we had gammon with acacia honey, roast pots ( I cooked some extra veg at home) and sticky toffee pudding /butternut and goats cheese lasagne, mediterranean roasted veg and the hot choc fudge pudding. I got 2 bottles of the Cava which I have put away for Christmas and opened a bottle of red which I already had. It was all absolutely delicious btw.

I asked two separate employees if there was an alternative to the wine (I'd have taken juice!) and they both said no. I'll go back next weekend and ask for the print out :o)

the print outs were in a display hanger attached to the chiller cabinet where the meals were displayed, the menu was also on the M & S website too!
