Can I use yoghourt?

I'm making a curry for the weekend but forgot to get some soured cream when I was at the supermarket. Can I use yoghourt, that's normal yoghourt not greek yoghourt (I know I could have used that).

of course you can,unless you are making a rich chicken korma,you should be using yoghurt anyway!!!
Try to avoid strawberry or toffee flavours, though.

The recipe says soured cream so just wondered if yoghourt wouldn't be too liquid. It'll save me a trip to the corner shop.
