If you carve properly it never ever makes a mess of the meat!!!! Deffo go for one, it's econimical too cos you don;t cut the meat too thickly

I said I wouldn't post on CB, and I won't, unless the Ed releases Dot.
I'm not a fab cook (okay, a bit rubbish, actually) but I like the Sunday carving ritual. If we sat down for Sunday lunch round at my parents' house and Daddy produced one of those ghastly electric things, I'd get up and come home, and take my chances on my own cooking (which is saying something!).
But, I know he wouldn't ... thank god.
