Is it just me whom finds soy milk builds up a dodgey taste in your moth which lingers long after having been drunk.. Sort of a constantly dry, unsatisfying icky taste which just wont shift. Or is this just me _. I've tried 4 different varieties now, even unsweetened soy milk, but they all do it :-\

I use Granose soya milk. It is calcium enriched, has no added sugar and tastes a whole lot better than some of the other brands. I buy mine from Asda.
Sam, I've had this exact same experience... it kept me off soy milk for years and years. Lately I've discovered that I don't get the astringent feeling in my mouth from either Pacific Soy or Silk (but these may just be available in the US, I don't know). Also, you could try drinking almond milk or rice milk instead. Almond milk is sweet and rich, and rice milk is naturally sweet as well, but thinner.
My bf says this as well. He complains that it's powdery, chalky and leaves residue on cups. As a vegan I drink nothing else in my tea and I don't have this problem at all. I s'pose it's just down to personal tastes. Having said that, different brands do taste different. I usually get Soya Soleil.
