acidophilus can be obtained in capsule form for 5-6 pound ,90 capulses one a day.a lot cheaper than buying these yogurt drinks.
Bit did they make you feel better? If so, in what way?
i havent taken it,but my misses uses it for vagnal yeast infection and swears by it. http://www.wholehealthmd.com/refshelf/substances_view/1,1525 ,748,00.html you might find this interesting.
sorry,should read vaginal.
I had one every day for a good few months and felt no different. I became obsessed with thinking I had to have one every day without fail cos it would do me so much good but then realised that the only difference was the added expense on my weekly shopping bill!
yes they do work i have digestive problems and if you suffer from a swollen stomach they take the bloating away
I think that Vinny is right about taking the capsules - the drinks are very expensive. A lot of GP's are now recommending probiotics now for IBS, etc. and are suggesting that people on antibiotics have probiotics at the same time. To answer your question, I quite like those little probiotic drinks so have often had two or three a day for a week or so, but I certainly haven't felt any more invigorated!
What the f""k does "probiotic" mean anyway! did another chump make that word up like, l-casie immunitas? stop watching adverts and eat some fruit, you'll feel better in a couple of days.
