Sometimes my hubby has a tomato sauce sandwich. I think it's gross, but he quite likes it.

Do you like strange sandwich fillings?

salami cheese n salsa.
lol I used to have those when I was young and we had no food other than bread, brown sauce sandwiches were nicer
Salami and cheese sounds lovely - I love breakfast buffets on holiday in some parts of Europe where you get all the lovely continental meats and cheese to choose from and lovely scrambled eggs :)
Guacamole is good between 2 slices of bread.
crisp sarnie :)
When we were little we used to have crisp sandwiches. Condensed milk is another but I don't like them.
Cream cheese and crisps
someone I used to work with used to bring in cold mash potatoe sandwiches :O
Hi Mrs C;

This question has been asked countless times before buy, hey, who cares? ;-)

The caf at a local auction sight does peanut butter (crunchy), cream cheese and celery sarnies - delicious!

My favourite sarni, though, is probably Stilton with mango chutney, on wholegrain bread.
asparagus....yummy
Salt and vinegar crisps and cheese :)

Hi Chris and everyone else on this thread.

I love a prawn and potato salad sandwich - scrummy!

PS: Chris, I'm still making Pilchard Bake for Paul!
Does anyone remember the cartoon in the newspaper of the Perishers and Marlon with his tomato ketchup sarnie. He had the sauce inches thick and when he bit into it it sprayed everyone for yards around.

I hope that didn't happen wuth Mr chappie, Mrs C LOL
your still making it mr.c...

Reckon it will be overcooked by now!

LOL @ Chuck. BTW lad, I got a Samsung 10 inch netbook for Paul. He's well-chuffed with it.
It's about time I made another pilchard bake for myself, Mrs C. The only problem is that every time I think of it, I've always just run out of cheese. (That's hardly surprising, since I seem to live on the stuff. It doesn't last long in my house!).

I've been trying to perfect a pork dish, using dry cider. I'll let you know when I think that it's worth passing on ;-)
glad he likes it, in my opinion you made a good choice going for a 10inch one... much easier to use than smaller ones ;o)

Thanks Chris. Do you have a favourite cheese?

Chuck, you were right about the 10 inch little fellah. That inch and a bit makes a big difference!

[:o)
Taught my 'little' boys to make pizzas with tomato/cheddar/oregano grilled. Now they're dads they feed same to their kids when they're in charge.

Hey Chris, I'll look forward to another recipe!

Rosetta, Mr. C sometimes dribbles it down his shirt - it's a b*gger to get out in the wash! Can't say I remember that cartoon .... although I do remember the Perishers!
