How much have u got? Some of the large hotels will have traditional (western) style things going on but are really quite pricy....ordinary people in Tokyo eat Kentucky Fried Chicken (its KFC's big day) u book a meal and tell them what time u will pick it up and when u go there it will be ready for u to take out...If u hang around for New Year u can taste Seichi Ryori...all cold stuff..prepared before the couple of days off....Xmas day in Japan is just another working day... Don't expect too much... Christmas eve all courting couples book a room in a hotel and the guy puts out a nice bit of jewelry..and then a nice meal and then into the sack... Go to the shopping area called GINZA lots a nice shops and restaraunts but very pricy.... u'll probably need to book.... Have a nice time!
