I do them but was trying a different method, with, may I add, excellent results

brings back memories, my dad used to grow them in damp cotton wool in a tupperware, under the settee (it had storage under the seats)

my god, never done them like that hun - they're in a steel pot in the airing cupboard & I can't wait to eat them! taste lovely but I want the tails to grow longer

I should say that when my dad was growing them it was about 40 yrs ago lol, more modern methods now just never heard of anyone else mentioning it, I loved my dads cooking
ooo-yummmm!.....I grow them alot in the summer.......alfafa sprouts also. I use the glass jar method.....I have one of those Bio Snacky jars.

Hi babe, yes I'm fine. Glad you came back to say Hi lol. I looked at alfafa beans but don't know if i'll like the flavour - so i chickened out!

come to mine on Monday & maybe you could join us for a stir fry weeal x
All sprouts are loverly......you can get packets of different varieties to try. I also like chickpea sprouts. The alfafa go well in tuna mayo or mashed avocado.(or the 2 combined,as I do! )

I can't stand chick peas but love the flavour of the flour! (gram flour AKA chick pea flour & besan) how weird is that? Mind you I love tomatoes but hate tomato ketchup - yuk!
