fruit cake and cheese

what is a good cheese to have with fruit cake?

We had Wensleydale with our Christmas cake; also try Lancashire (whoo, and me a Yorkshire lass !)

I was also going to suggest Wenslydale or Lancashire . Red Leicestershire might be ok as well. Personally I prefer the smoother creamier cheeses like those already mentioned rather the stronger cheddar or even Cheshire
