Well its on the news, a donner has a days worth of salt and 1000 calories (dont know if that includes the portion of chips to go with)
Are these people serious? Did anyone in the land actually think they were healthy ?
They do seem to have forgoten that most kebabs are consumed after 10 pintrs of beer so the calories is not quite so significant, add the that the fact most end up as pavement pizzas so are not digested just what is their point?
What do ABers prefer 70 years of riotus fun living or 100 years of abstenance and hell (a muslim life)

I have always wondered who or what the doner was. Indeed I very much doubt that it was a voluntary donation.
Never mind the calories. Health department research in Australia found that the vast majority of kebabs served during the peak times of day are made with grossly undercooked meat.
We imported a lot of great culinary traditions from around the world. The doner kebab wasn't one of them.
