Does anyone else get an itchy nose after eating food with lots of salt in it?

ive had this problem with lots of pepper followed by sneezing,but not with salt?

I've never heard of an itchy nose with salt, but my dad sometimes has hearing problems when he eats a lot of salt.  Once he had a bowl of overly salty soup and couldn't hear out of one ear for weeks.

Hi Vinny, no it's an actual syndrome, called Meniere disease.  He's been on a low salt diet ever since.

It's probably to do with blood pressure, people get an itchy nose when they lie due to increased blood pressure as well.

It makes my nose run which means that practically every meal I have to blow my nose. It was triggered by a Thai green curry I ate in 1997 and I've never been the same since.
