Its cruel and unnecessary!, inhumane and just sick!!!!
I love hugh fw and jamie oliver for bringing chicken welfare to the public knowledge, but how many of u know what happens to the chickens and are still happy to eat the eggs??

many people are not aware of how animals are treated whilst alive and during slaughter!!
I eat wild shot animals, left to lead a free life and are shot without knowing whats coming! Unlike slaughtered animals.
I never used to tho, i ate chicken, battery eggs, ordinary meats etc... Until i started campaigning for hugh fw's chickenout last year, thanks to them i have been educated about where our meats and other products come from,
I couldnt eat it now, I was blissfully unaware.
Education is key to changing the publics attitude towards the welfare of the animals, if u chose to eat it then thats up to u, in a perfect world everyone would kno exactly where our meats etc come from and how they are raised, unfortunately the companies wont tell us, coz they kno many consumers wouldnt buy it.... does a cream egg wrapper say, goo made from eggs produced by caged hens? no!!
Im not one of these intense animal rights campaigners, i just believe in educateion and empowering people to make their own choices through information and knowledge x

No really im not.. sorry was typing too fast x
Im just a 28 yr old mum of 2 who loves animals, i now have 17 chickens, and 3 new baby chicks arrived this wknd.
I hope u dont think im trying lecture anyone on their eating habits coz im not! I just think everyone has the right to kno what theyre eating! then they can make an informed choice whether to eat it or not!
So i wont be eating any cream eggs, nor my kids, but thats theyre choice coz they know how then hens r kept.
Just thought it would be a good discussion as to who will not be buying them this yr due to the fact that cadburys still make the goo with battery eggs and havent followed other companies by going free range?
