lentil soup is it fattening??

Been making alot of this recently and wondered if it is quite fattening,just carrots onions lentils and stock!!!

Doesn't sound it from your description. The only fat-laden element would be the stock, if home made stock, and you can usually see and remove excess fat before you use the stock. However if using stock cubes, watch the salt content.

Lentils are higher in calories than vegetables as it's a pulse but they're very good for you as I'm sure you know.
Millions of people in India eat dahl, (lentils) every day. There are a lot of skinny people in India.
