Does anyone remember the little tins of Cremola Foam powder which you used to mix with water to make a yummy drink? Must be about 20 years since I've seen it, but would love to get it again.
Must look up in Wikipaedia. Would love to try it again to see if it was as nice as I thought it was then. Raspberry was my favourite. Thanks for posting your comments.
Nestl lost the recipe. An unopened tin was discovered a couple of years ago, and the contents were analysed, but were found to have deteriorated too much to determine what the exact ingredients and proportions were.
Oh dear!! How could they!! Looks like I'll have to enjoy it in my memories then, Thanks for all the replies. Good to know I'm not the only one to remember.
i loved it but only got as a special treat now and again! I wonder if I would still like it now - not really into sugary drinks much but cant imagine not still liking creamola foam! You are stirring special childhood memories mentioning this - there was even a certain glass we would use just for creamola foam and to get a good head on it!
We never got Creamola Foam down here in the South East (well I never saw it if we did).
I had to mix Enos Fruit Salt (a type of Epsom Salt like Andrews) with fruit squash to get the same effect!
It was nice, but of course you couldn't drink TOO much or you would be on the loo all day! LOL
Wow!! Thanks for all your comments. I have really enjoyed this trip down memory lane. Now, what about Spangles sweets? Thats another one but from even farther back. My favourite was Old English flavour.
