Electric cooker failed
Our Electric cooker died whist cooking dinner the other night - no power at all event he clock stopped working!
The circuit breaker at the mains point did not go and I have replaced the fuse in the cooker point in the cupboard next to the cooker (was a 13Amp fuse).
There doesn't seem to be a dedicated circuit breaker for the cooker- should there be one? Should the 13 Amp fuse be higher? Any ideas as to why the power has gone?
Thanks
Tracy

My oven does this on a regular basis - usually when I have been using the grill and the bottom oven at the same time. The only thing that we can put it down to is that the oven thinks it is overheating in some way and has a safety feature that switches it all off. When everything has cooled down - hey presto - we're up and running again. Does this sound similar???
