banana and ginger cake recipe

Many years ago I used to make a banana & ginger cake but now I want to make it again I cant find the recipe. It may have included walnuts but I used to leave them out. The cake was made using mashed ripe bananas and was iced using butter, icing sugar, ground ginger and possibly milk. I have been unable to trace the recipe. Can anybody help? Thanks in anticipation.
