Rye bread

I'm sitting here muching a slice of rye bread/pumpernickel type stuff.

Why would they make something that tastes so nasty? I've put some flora on it, are you supposed to put something on to drown out the taste?

I know what you mean Booldawg but actually if you persevere it's not too bad. I have phases of eating it and then go off it for a while.
Personally, I quite like it occasionally, but each to his own. I usually have it with something like salami or cream cheese, and sliced gherkins.
I eat a lot of it .
Lovely with sliced tomato and onion or parma ham and cream cheese with gherkins .But you have to have proper butter on it not that Flora stuff :)
Don't buy the one from Lidl .It's as dry as a nuns whatnot .
I reckon Morrisons and Aldis do the best Pumpernickel .
