I leave stuff in the freezer for ages too gossip
I wouldn't recommend it gossipgirl just chuck it!
I wouldn't touch it but I'm really fussy like that. I can't even eat salad cream or mayonnaise if I don't know how long it's been opened.

Did you read about that couple who opened a can and ate it after about 50 years....they were fine. On the programme it was saying that things had a lot longer shelf life than stated....but who would take the risk??

It will be safe from a bacterial/food poisoning perspective - bugs don't grow at -30C.

It's overall quality and texture may be a bit down though.

Last night, without word of a lie, I had runner beans from the freezer, that must have been there for 7 years. Perfect.
(Having said that, I'd chuck it too!!)
