Prices in Holland

has anyone any idea of prices of food and drink there , for idea a bottle of wine . Is it more expensive than here??

yes Europe in general is more expensive now as the Euro is more or less equals the pound last time i was in Amsterdam two half beers were 5 Euros which as you see now would be the equivalent �5

hi..when in holland last year we noticed that food and drink had indeed become very expensive...try 5.20 euro for a glass of coke in a hotel cafe!!! and now that the euro is up against the pound i dread to think what eating out costs over there at the minute. as usual it a case of looking around for reasonably priced places to eat out. good luck!!
