It's usually called the diet for gastronomes and was created by Michel Montignac in the 1980s. The diet basically says no carbohydrates with a high glycaemic index. This encourages the body to produce insulin which encourages cells to store fat. So potatoes, pasta. sugar and caffeine are off limits. The good news, however, is you can have dark chocolate, steak and red wine.
