cocktails & cocktail bowls

Hiya,
i was wondering if any of you have any cheap and easy cocktail recipies! i am havin a bday bbq soon and know a few cocktails but they include small measures of spirits which i would never use agen which is a waste of money! :D

we are students so wud b great if they were also cheap to do!

also... any 1 know of where i can get big cocktail bowls!?

1 shot vodka

1 shot peach schnapps (archers)

200ml orange juice

200ml cranberry juice

2shots grenadine

Add ice to glass pour in shot of vodka add peach shnapps mix with orange, cranberry and raspberry

everyone has vodka and archers schnapps in the fridge and they aint that expensive either.... and the cheap stuff/versions get the same results and when mixed dont taste as bad.

we used to just get a few bottles of different things and experiment ourselves that was the aim of the party, everyone brings a bottle of something and tell them not just vodka or the usual stuff it has to be something different from the usual.... cauraco or however its spelled, tequila or strawberry tequila is always fab! Jagermeister, cherry brandy, some peppermint liquers, taboo and malibu, ouzo, drambuie or midori, sambuca or even absinthe!! if everyone brings one of something new, you stock up on different kinds of mixers, have fun mixing your own new and exciting cocktails, mix a few things together in a jug and go mad! :)))

Why dont you have a PIMS cocktail party? I think its 1 part pims to 4 parts lemonade But read bottle dont quote me on amount, Then add cucumber mint apple,& strarwberries and and have lots of ice, I always add vodka to mine make it a little stronger anyway its a refreshing drink. The recipe is on back of bottle,( do a non aclcholic one with blackcurrant instead of alchol for drivers or children And the price is very reasonable, Lemonade is next to nothing at super market . and tends to make people merry, have great bbq and good luck...Kimbobox

They do sell big bowls in tecos or jugs but why not just use cheap buckets out of B&Q or pound shop, But as you are students no one will expect all the glass ware. as that is expensive , The last few years i have also seen promos on the pims giving away large jugs, But when you looking for freebie it doesnt come along... good luck from Kimbobo

you can make a lots of good cocktails, with cranberry juice , orange juice as a base, and then mix vodka, peach schnapps(this is "sex on the beach style)...if you want more sour style, then make a margaritas, you can mix some Midori liquor with the tequila to make it more special..
cocktail punch bowl?? i have one brand new at home, you can buy from me!! ;0)

Its a little late but for next time try a Fat Frog.

Pour equal amounts of Smirnoff Ice, VK Orange and WKD Blue into a glass. It'll turn green and it tastes like the old Refresher chewy bars.
