Will these sausages be okay?

Hi
Did some food shopping after work yesterday, and got back and unpacked it at about 7pm. However, when I checked the empty bags today at about 10:30 am I realised I had forgotten to put some sausages in the fridge!
They smell fine and I didn't have the heating on yesterday and my basement flat was quite chilly, so do you think they'll be ok or not worth the risk?

Of course they are OK to eat once they are cooked thoroughly.

What do you think people did before they had fridges?
