venus clams

i am planning to make them tomorrow. they are very tasty but if anyone has eaten them it'd be great to get some new ideas of how to cook them. last time i cooked them with shallots white wine tarragona nd creme friache. they were nice but too boozy, as i used most of a bottle of wine and it was only me eating!

i love the clam pasta thingy but i am making pasta for 2nd course so want to cook it in a mussel type sauce
