I live in a three bed semi, albeit on my own. I have a huge freezer, a fridge, all my laundry goes in the tumble drier.
I have a large plasma tv and a power shower. I also have an electric cooker, and heat my water up by electricity when the central heating is switched off.
I use a dishwasher every day.
I have just had a large rebate because I paid too much for my gas and electricity - I pay 44 per month.

Hey pizza, I'm with Scottish Power. I live in a big house so I can expect to pay a lot, but I am energy conscious - switch lights off/computer off/don't leave anything on standby/don't use tumble dryer unless absolutely necessary, that sort of thing.
I'm told I get a discount for paying by direct debit, and also for managing my account online.

Hey pizza, I also keep my microwave oven switched off, and only switch it on when I am about to use it, as I once read that it uses more power to leave it permanently switched on (power being used to display the clock) than it does when cooking. (Hope you understand what I mean - I've just read that back and it sounds as clear as mud). lol.
